lost//found at sea

IMG_3831 1 (2).jpg

lost at sea is a collection of found objects, items, fragments, debris that exist as halves of a whole, as duplicates, as reflections, as shadows. touched by/linked to/echoes of the swarming, bubbling sea, they are remainders – silent ghosts, memorials to the tumultuous Material existence in which their counterparts are still adrift.

found at sea is a collection of curious conglomerations, tangled and earthy, gathered from the knotted strandline. shifting, creeping, lurking between human and nonhuman, between form, matter and artefact, they are things. temporarily permanent, paused shape-shifters – wreckage surfacing for a moment in the rush of the Material.
